It tells the story of the 1950s revolutionary uprising in Puerto Rico against the colonialists, which included a failed assassination attempt against President Harry S. Truman. The book contemplates the complexity and contradictions inherent to the possession of a moral compass, while bringing this lesser-known piece of history to a new audience.
