And the whole while Baron Fellowes seemed to be thinking: Right. Let’s clean this up, shall we? Indeed, from a certain angle, the final episode of “Downton Abbey” was just about getting people out of the fine messes their creator had gotten them into, and hustling them with all due celerity toward the finish line. ..."
