"I love these composits by Nicholas Dhervillers of the interesting picturetank agency. The series is called ‘Tourists’ and tries to represent someone alien in their surrounding, what I love is the process, using found and authored images. He says 'The initial idea behind this new series was to radically change night photos that I had already taken and that had a pictorialist tendency, in order to create a new non-place. [I then] relit certain parts of the photo and carried out a universal ‘casting’ session, spending hours googling portraits of anonymous people, looking for the most banal image possible.'"
